This privacy policy describes how the LLM-Powered Research Engine ("the App") accesses, uses, and stores data obtained through the Pinterest API.

What Data We Access

The App requests read-only access to the following, via Pinterest's Trial API access tier:

The App does not request write access, does not post, modify, or delete any Pinterest content, and does not access private messages or non-public account data.

How Data Is Used

Data retrieved from the Pinterest API is used solely for:

Retrieved data is processed locally and is not sold, shared, or distributed to third parties.

Data Storage

Any data logged by the App (e.g. trend metrics tied to generated content ideas) is stored in a local CSV file for personal reference and is not publicly hosted or shared.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the Anthropic Claude API to process and generate content ideas from gathered data. No raw Pinterest user data is transmitted beyond what is necessary for this processing.

Data Retention & Deletion

Data can be deleted at any time by removing the local log file. No data is retained on external servers beyond the scope of the API calls themselves.
